Rainie Yang or Yang Chenglin (Traditional Chinese: 楊丞琳; Simplified Chinese: 杨丞琳; pinyin: Yáng Chénglín) is a singer, actress and presenter for Taiwanese television born on the 4th of June 1984.

Biography

Rainie Yang followed her studies at the art school of Hwa Kang; where she met her first love, Alien Huang.

Carrière

In 2000 she was recruted to form the girl band « 4 in Love »; the group seperated the following year.

From 2001 she appeared in the very popular television soap « Meteor Garden ».

In 2005 after several supporting roles, she was chosen to be the leading actress in the television soap « Devil Beside You » where she met real success.

The same year she released her first solo album « My Intuition ».
