The lady from Shandong who arrived at the bank loaded with half a million yuans in small notes was refused her deposit.

Mrs Wang arrived at the bank at around 11am before dumping the contents of the 10 big hessian bags in the middle of the bank, forming a beautiful mountain of wads of a 100 notes bound in bunches of 1,000. The client is stated to be an employee of a company who works for the city public transport.

At around 4pm, while the bank clerks had only counted 10,000 yuans, one of Mrs Wang's directors came to retrieve the rest of the money in his little white car. For the future, he is committed to depositing more regularly smaller amounts.
