A section of the Great Wall of China is submerged by water and allows divers to discover the symbolic monument at an unusual angle. A rare and amazing event.
To over come a lack of water in the Tianjin region the governement decided in 1981 to create an artificial reservoir submerging one section of the Great Wall.
