Thousands of chinese tourists and astronomers witnessed a total solar eclipse in western China.
Above in Hami - 哈密 (the chinese city of melon) in Xinjiang region - 新疆 19h08 local time.
Above in Xi'an - 西安, Shaanxi province - 陕西, 18h27, 18h32, 18h37 and 19h21.
Abonve in Yuzhou - 禹州市, Henan province - 河南. The eclipse was visible from Canada (Nunavut), Greenland, central Russia, eastern Kazakhstan, western Mongolia and China. It belonged to the so-called midnight sun eclipses, as it was visible from regions experiencing midnight sun. Lili Tan
