On January 17, 2005, Bao Xishun - 鲍喜顺 is recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest man alive (by natural growth) with 2,362 m.
Xishun was born in Chifeng 赤峰 of Inner Mongoliain in 1951. He has a normal size until the age of 16 when its growth suddenly accelerated. He reached its current size at the age of 21 years.
