On December 2006, Haihai and Lele, the two dolphins at the aquarium Fushun 抚顺 had large pieces of plastic in their stomachs that threatened their health. Several veterinarians had attempted to use their arms to withdraw them, but the objects were far too deep. Later a young assistant thought about Bao Xishun, the tallest man in the world (2m36).

On 13 December, Bao Xishun arrived on the scene. He extended his 1.06m-long arm into the dolphins' stomachs to take the things out.

Dolphins were rescued.
