Wednesday 8th of August 2007, Amarilis Espinoza, the speaker for the Guinness Book of Records announced that the Ukranian Leonid Stadnyk, 2m57 replaced Bao Xishun 2m36 in the 2008 edition of the Guinness Book of Records.
Leonid Stadnyk, 2m57, was born in 1971 in the Ukraine and lives today in Podoliantsi. The smallest of his class at school, he has not stopped growing since.
