Xu Yan from Shandong province won the 2009 Miss Earth China national beauty competition on Friday 25, September and will represent China at the 9th Miss Earth pageant in Boracay, Philippines on November 22. The runners-up are Wang Shanshan and Zhao Yishan.

Xu Yan, along with about 90 contestants from different countries and territories, will travel on November 2009 to the Philippines for the three weeks training before the Miss Earth 2009 final in Boracay Convention Centre on November 22, 2009.
