Vanessa Yao from Australia has won the Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant of Oceanian contest on Tuesday August 18, 2009 at the Lyric Theatre, Sydney. She will represent Oceania to compete in the 2009 Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant final in Macau this October.

Yoke Walujo, 26 from Bali won the Miss Bikini contest tonight in Xinyang, China, during Miss Tourism Queen International 2009 pageant. Runners-up are Ekaterina Grushanina from Russia and Ruslana Staodub from Ukraine.

Amy Chanthaphavong, 27, a Laotian American beauty from New York won the 24th annual Miss Asian America Pageant on August 8, 2009 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. She will attend the Miss Chinese International 2010 pageant next year in China.

Nadya, of Yemenese and Chinese descent has won the first Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant of the Middle East on Friday August 7, 2009 in Dubai. She will represent the region to compete in the 2009 Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant final in Macau this October.

Vasana Wong-Buntree, 22, has been crowned Miss Global Beauty Queen 2009 saturday night, August 1, 2009 at Daqing, China. Runner-ups are Botova Anna of Russia  and Chen Niya from Taiwan.

Chinese model Zhang Yu, 21, wins the 4th Asian Supermodel Contest sunday in Nanning. The first runner-up is Uyanga Ochirbat, 21, from Mongolia followed by Jeon Byeol-nim, 20, from South-Korea.
