I was in Xi'an once for about 4 days. I'd love to go back and spend a week...have fun. And maybe in December or next year for the new years I'll be back in China lol.

not that expensive,costs change according to the parents' income,actually the basic charges are not that high.as far as i know, many parents spend money just because others do that,but i n fact it's not necessary.emmm,kids are the mixer of angel and devil. i love them.

I got no right to judge that but my last internation relationship has ended in failure.She was american white,Probably different cultures or something,We were so well getting along with eachother at the beginning,Till someday i realized that she wasn't so nice like she used to be.Maybe she is a nice girl but we got total different natures,That's why we broke up i suppose.It gave me a feeling like i didn't even want to stay there anymore so i chose come back,Everything was getting a lot better after that.I don't know,Probably just nature problem.

That was a great post amozonia13, thank you. I tend to agree that it can be challenging and yet it works very well for some couples.

I guess it all depends on how much you are willing to be open to what you can learn from the whole experience. You may need a lot of patience too, if your spouse has quite different cultural ideas and practices. But I am a firm believer that LOVE can conquer all!!!

Yeah it sounds like it was a personality problem not a cultural problem

marriages looks more like a alliance in a world, that will happen when two persons really fond each other and want to overcome the difficulty between them and cultures,life habits,values,etc.
except those,that's a personal thing,or a mating hobby,different races are all human beings,and earth is much more becoming a big village now a days...but marriage is something sophisticated than it looks outside,romantic feelings and get to know each other better is a necessary step.

Ming, I agree with Lordarithon... Definitely a personality problem not cultural problem...

i'm mixed race!! (half Asian, half English)!

I am the product of a mixed marriage (asian and american)and it worked for my mom and dad. Personally I think I am well balanced and can see "both worlds":-)
