I plan on studying in China soon. I am pale, but I'm Italian/Spainish(mix), I have black hair, but like I said, if I don't tan, I have rather white and pale skin. So if I were to hit on girls at the nightclubs in Shanghai, would I still have a chance? Or would I get a lot of racism/hate?

That is hard to say. I mean you have racist people from all races. So this by individual case. Let us know here at [www.chinese-tools.com] how it works out for you in China.

You cannot group everyone under one heading. Some are. Some aren't. I think they tend to view Africans negatively, but not Westerners.

NO! I would say : NO ! NO! NO! Chinese girls even all chinese have no racist! conversely, the girls like deeply make get on with foreigners . That's true! I don't know why.

I'm sorry I doubt the purpose of your coming to China. Seriously do you really plan to study in China or just hook up with girls at "nightclubs"?
