I might little sensitive on this subject .one of my friends ,she's been in a relationship with an India guy for years, now is in her 30's,her family push her to get married like other Chinese parents to their daghter,the India guy also been asked to get married ,but should be an India girl......in fact there is one. This couple does love each other and they are trying all ways to prevaricate their parents, the girl does suffer some pressures sometime.
another one is a girl’s charming single mom, been with a French man for 8 years, but months before they just parted, the lady went back to china, the man back to French, that is all....I am so sorry for this, because the mom is such a charming lady and the guy is really act in a gentleman-like manner. there might be no more chance to see them again.

I believe there are true love for those been together for years, but the things really frustrate me, there are so many people just hung out, you could say they lack of courage, but some times you just can not hurt the closest people.

I am not trying to say things are always very tough, I do hope those couples love each other can be together have a happy ending.

There are some happy ending stories also, a Chinese lady marries an Arab, they have 2 children, and the elder one is in high school now. I would like to say they have done it very well. There younger son is quite cute in frizzy hair.

LOL the reason why it's hard for Chinese guys to get US girls is for 2 reasons. First of all in the US there isn't any "get to know someone" group date where a bunch of people get together and 2 people have a chance to get to know one another. We do that yes, but a Chinese guy would have to become part of that group, which brings in the next problem.

Chinese guys are so busy playing video games, doing homework, spending time with other Chinese people, and watching movies that they don't even start to try to become part of any group of US people.

Another problem is again Chinese guys seem to be looking for that "small group" get together to meet someone...the problem with that is you can't do that with western girls. You have to go up to them and just talk to them.

Another reason why Chinese guys have a hard time getting US girls is because when they come here it's usually for school. Yet what do most Chinese guys come to school for in the US?? It's engineering, and there aren't too many US girls in the engineering department. US girls are in the business, communication, and nursing departments in the Universities.

These are VERY big reasons why Chinese guys don't have relationships with US girls in the same way that Chinese girls have relationships with US guys. The sole reason why US guys get Chinese girls so easy is because plenty of US guys are just bold enough to go up to one and talk to one.

So no, I wouldn't say US girls are harder to get, you just have to approach them differently compared to what you are used to.

Plupie I agree with you, it was a boo boo statement. There are sexy Chinese girls...but the problem is how most people define sexy. Too many people define sexy in a visual point of view. Such as have large breasts, and a firm round ass. Which for many Chinese girls that gives them a disadvantage.

I think the only reason why I hesitated to marry Caucasian female, it seems like they can separate/divorce with you for small reasons, rather than work together and resolve challenges. LOL Anime has always been popular in the US. It's just that it became very mainstream in the late 90's. I watched Anime ever since I was really little. I used to watch Voltron, Macross, Speed Racer, Gigantor, Gatchaman, Captain Harlock, and a few others I can't remember the names of.

Then as I got a little older I watched anime hybrid cartoons that were a mixture of Japan and somewhere else such as The Little Prince, Bell and Sebastian, Ulysses 33, Transformers, and a few others I can't remember the names of...

Then when I got a little older Anime kinda fell to the side. You didn't find it so much here in the US. Then in 1995 I found out they were playing anime movies on saturday nights. Such movies as Vampire Hunter D, Silent Mobius, Barefoot Gen, and a few others. Then also in 1995 I found out that they were showing Dragon Ball Z. It went form one channel, and then to another the next year in 1996. Then in 1998 they switched it to another channel. The DBZ was switched to a whole new company which made it suck...even though the first company wasn't much better other than the voices were better in the first one.

Anyway by 1997 they started showing Thundercats and Voltron. Then they switched to Macross, and they kept bringing more and more shows.

Anyway let's not forget Pokemon was also popular and so were a few others like Digimon later on as well...I kinda fell out of it in 2000 when Cartoon Network stopped showing anime during the day and only at night....which was bullshit because Cartoon Network said they were going to show what the others were afraid to, well it looks like they got afraid and started showing them at night. It was dick and I hated it and I haven't watched anime that much since. LOL.
