Some good Chinese names for a girl?

Nihao, people!

I'm trying to find a good Chinese name for myself. What are you favorite girl names in Chinese and their meanings? The ones that derive from the word water are especially welcome because that is my element.

Thanks! spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

You can put "淼" into your Chinese name. It is composed of three "水"(water in Chinese). Then you can just randomly pick up a surname.

How about "shiyu" 诗雨
诗 shi means poem, poetry
雨 yu means rain (contains water spinning smiley sticking its tongue out)

Maybe too chinese traditional. Just for refrence consider.

tell you the truth 淼 is no common used as I know.
and 诗雨 is not bad, but 雨 is used less.
诗 is actually very pretty.
maybe 佩诗, or just 诗, or 慧诗.
佩 I dont know how o translate into english. but its commonly used for girls.
慧 means like wisdom. usually are for girls.

Maybe you don't want to use 雨 and 诗.

First, they are too common.
Seond, having rain in your name is a pity, and maybe you are not poet?
Third, start with a family name instead.
