Why China doesn't have city code 026?

Hi all,
Did you notice that China doesn't have city code 026? We have 010 for Beijing, 021 for Shanghai, 020 for Guangzhou...we also have 022, 023, 024....029 but no 026. The truth is it's prepared for Taipei, Taiwan! However, don't have the chance to use it yet. ![]() Re: Why China doesn't have city code 026?

You dail +886 currently when you want to reach Taiwan, wherever you are calling from. However, i don't really know your conversation will be monitored. ![]() Re: Why China doesn't have city code 026?
