Not sure how many are you are kids of immigrants parent 1st or 2nd generation born in country your parents choose to be in. You will never be British, Canada, or American!! you will still be considered as foreginer in those lands simply way we look. Friends I have who are BBC's (british born Chinese) do not like to come China they see same as we foreginers see in china, rudeness, bad habits of locals..etc...it just our opinion of mainland.
Being so called "Gangster" just gives chinese people a worse name and reputation it is not way to go. I think you more be in love with image and watch too many gangster movies from HK. The so called gangsters in UK, snake heads, triads are pussies they will not touch the whites, blacks or indians because they will get a "good slap" as my friend did when few enteredd his shop asking for protection money, after good hiding they never came back. Thus reason these gangster involve in prostitution, drugs, protection rackets, gambling within their own communities in China towns. Intelligence is best to defeat racism or cope with it as racist are dumb asses we all know that "silence is best reply to a fool". Racism exists everywhere even in your own coutries of origns....suprisingly you will find even if you are born outside your parents country of origins you will experience some form of racism from your own people back in the homeland!!! Are you really Chinese???? ![]() Re: What do you think about Chinese boys?

WHOOOOOOOOOO! hahahahha, classic!!!by the way,I think if you want proud of your nationality, the pride shouldn't come baseless,it seems except west, other areas have no contribution to developement of industrial world, include China, they just follow and copy.that's why I ask you what makes you proud of your nationality, you felt humiliated because you can't give me answer. Where you come from is who you are. It's your identity. Uberche, if not a culture, a country then maybe you've had family instead? A strong father perhaps? Jasuk, if you talk of your own country or a country you know, I'm happy to hear. In Canada unless you're a Tamil Tiger arriving by mystery ship, yes, you can become a full fledged Canadian. And yeah, even a brown guy. If I knew you better I'd say have a look at my family.
Kids can be viscous. My friend got called a chink one day and he had a strong comeback. He said, I'll tell you what a chink is.. For the kids that day that's was enough, then on with other things. Another time I remember a kid saying, hey, you know where fireworks come from? If there were no Chinese you wouldn't have that. Childish right? But at a young age that's all it takes. Look at native kids in Canada when I was growing up. Many of them had such an unsure grounding, their culture in taters, families torn. Weren't we talking about how kids of Chinese immigrants seemed to do better than others? It's an identity to a strong culture, community, and family. I always felt enriched playing at these kids homes growing up (even tho it was nearly always with the feeling of marginal tolerance from the parents). And I remember high school was like a prison some times. Just get through it. All those guys were losers. It'll all get panned out. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/08/2009 05:36AM by Silver.Panda. But dispite being born in UK having british passport does not make me British, reason we are called British Born Asian's (be it indian or Chinese) we always have this prefix attached...British Born....as you would be Canadian Born Chinese...your identity is you. There a something the Extreme Right Wing (BNP / NF) in UK use to say, "If you were born in a stable does not make you a horse, just because you born in UK does not make you British!!!" ![]() Edited 1 time(s). OMG the BNP never fail to shock I think how you view your nationality is a matter of peference, for me it might be a little different because both my parents were born in the UK but I think it's wrong to tell someone they should not consider themselves as whatever they wish to. To be honest I haven't seen that British born prefix on many forms or surveys I've filled out so it's more a figure of speech to me.Re: What do you think about Chinese boys?

I've heard they've had problems in the UK. Whenever there is a large influx of newcomers it'll happen. We've had this discussion (wish I could navigate around here I'd offer the link). Canada has always been self conscious about identity. News programs go out trying to discover what it means to be Canadian. We tend to not label and hyphenate everyone as the Americans do. And then what is the context when someone does use the term? Where I grew up we learned to talk about someone's "heritage" , always a plus. Otherwise it's just yeah, Alan, he's Chinese. His parents said he couldn't buy the house because it had bad Fengsui -never mind it was his own money and guy was like 25 yo! The neighbour's kids were playing in my yard one day picking up bugs, still in diapers and Nathan starts with bla, bla, bla.. "and I'm a little Chinese boy." His mom went flush but it was so cute. Yep, he's Canadian! Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 11/08/2009 09:02PM by Silver.Panda. Re: What do you think about Chinese boys?

We all have our crosses to bear though, you have to deal with people who like Chinese and everyone else has to deal with your continual ignorance and blind hatred of the Chinese. It'll even out in the end I guess... Re: What do you think about Chinese boys?

Some Chinese guys asked me if White girls would like him and how he could try and get one. Well since the first thing is first impressions its defintely about looking well groomed. I told him that first he needed to fix his hygiene and to look neat. Told him to brush his teeth properly and go see a dentist. Wash his hair and shave everyday so he don't look like a greasy grizzly monkey. You will be surprise how they don't do any of that.
And that's their problem. Even if they know that to make a good impression is to groom themselves, they don't do jack shit about it. So yeah no progress no change. Re: What do you think about Chinese boys?

Well I don't have many friends that like Asian guys in general and the 1 or 2 that do are black. When I ask those that don't why, they just say I don't find them attractive. I think Chinese guys in the UK don't care about grooming only study... that is why you always see them walking with glasses on, looking nervous and wearing a backpack hahaha just kidding. I think the issue with some Asian guys is that they never try to mix in or get to know westerners, apart from the crazy ones who randomly start chatting rubbish to you at bus stops . So most western girls aren't really used to interacting with Asian guys and just think they tend to keep themselves to themselves. Guess it works 2 ways though, we could be putting in more effort ourselves I think it's slowly starting to change though as we're seeing an increase in ethnic minorities in the media. Haha i'm always way too shy to go chat to any guys I see that I like, it's even worse with Asian guys though. You just assume they wouldn't like you.Re: What do you think about Chinese boys?

"Unless you know where you came from, unless you know what your ancestors had been through, you have no reference point. What makes us different from the Thais, Filipinos, or the Sri Lankans? The difference is how we came here, how we developed, and that requires a sense of History." Lee Kuan Lew It's the feeling of belonging. An affinity to a place, a particular culture, group of people, family. When a member of my "nation" accomplishes something, I think wow, that's a part of me and I'm happy for them. Pride is tribal. I once met an American, a former seal, real good stand up character, told me he often put a Canada patch on his rucksack when he travelled abroad. That's as much ironic as it is sad. Personally, I don't. Never. If people assume I'm American, I'll leave them to their ignorance (if they're shooting Americans.. uh.. maybe I'll speak up). Quote: Yeah I know where I'm from and all that. My point was pride in being Canadian. Being Proud to be Canadian is just foolish. I like being Canadian, I know our history and when I go home it's comfortable and nice to be home. But pride... no. Re: What do you think about Chinese boys?

Sounds hot! If you are hot, rape me! But don't break anything while you are at it. Give me a nice rape experience! Bring 4 hot girls to wrestle me down because It won't feel like a rape without a little struggle. But before you rape me please have a sexual checkup. I don't want a STD. Be a considerate rapist. And after you have finished don't forget to tip me. Leave at least 1000rmb per person that raped me. 4 girls wrestling me down. Woot 4000 in one night! Abu's Indian Accent: Thank you come again! If you guys consented for Shareen to rape you then i do not think in theroy it is rape it is consensual hanky panky. If you do not agree to be ravished by Shareen and despite your pleds she goes ahead due to her overwhelming desire for you then it could be considered rape....either way you guys will enjoy it ![]() Re: What do you think about Chinese boys?
