Damn... sucks to be those two. Crossing the border illegally as reporters is about the stupidest thing you could do... The one lady has a child! Hope they get released soon, supposedly Gore might take a trip over to try and get them released.

You have to ask, did they consider the possibility of getting caught? Really gotta have brass balls to be a reporter.

Bad timing too. When Krazy Kim of Korea was about to test his nuclear toys.

No one goes to North Korea without thinking about the consequences of getting caught.

The fact that both of those reporters were arrested, tried, and convicted only shows the possibility of a much larger chess game being played on a geopolitical level.

However, it remains to be seen which country or countries sent those women there.

If this whole escapade is a set-up, this begs the question, "what does North Korea, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, or the US have to gain with the two reporters being sentenced?"

Not that many people care, not like the woman who was sentenced in Iran. I heard about her constantly without watching the news. These women I don't hear hardly anything about....could be for the fact that it's a new story, but still...it doesn't seem that a lot of people care. I guess they are tired of asian female reporters getting in trouble for things.

The stability of North East Asia is seriously threatened by the madness of North Korea. The international society issued humanitarian aids to North Korea but it didn't help us solve the problem.

Instead of repaying the generous hospitality, North Korea prepared missile launch and nuclear tests. And adding to this preposterous behaviors, North Korea abducted 2 American journalist.

North Korea should remember that their shall be grave consequences if it does not stop threatening the international society.

It time to use the stick against the mad dog. It is time to show North Korea that the international society has the will to stand against North Korea's sinister plot.

Poohahafun,

China will never allow North Korea to fall because it needs its buffer state in the peninsula.

The US will not seek a confrontation with North Korea because it would loose too much in the process and risk confrontation with China as in 1950.

In all actuality, North Korea is not a threat to anyone even if it had a viable nuclear weapon. China would never allow them to use it and North Korea would risk its complete destruction if it did.

As I said in an earlier post, North Korea's recent moves and the arrest of those two foolish journalists are a result of other moves and directives ordered by those countries and power brokers who wish to make their claim in Northeast Asia.

I'm I'm not mistaken...doesn't Kim Jong Il's name in Chinese characters mean "The king who is fucking"???

A few friends told me this about 2 years ago. They also told me that the Chinese characters for this father's name were "The king who has fucked".

So I guess if you want to know what his title should be as opposed to what he wants then look to the Chinese characters for this name lol.

They didn't "abduct" anyone. They were illegally entering a sovereign country. Can you imagine what would happy if two North Korean reporters illegally entered the USA?

i think because U.S gave Kim so much shit, now he can use this as a leverage...

LOL I'd say half of the Mexican population in the US are illegal immigrants lol. I'd say a quarter of the Chinese population in the US are illegal as well. After all it's harder to get here on a boat or a plane as compared to swimming a river or walking through the desert lol.

Uberche has a point. They illegally entered a sovereign country...but unlike most countries they weren't just deported they were detained. As for the fact of what would happen if 2 north koreans were found in the US, I'm sure they would be labeled as terrorists and used as a bargaining chip.

Yes, yes they are. I heard that North Korean school children are taught that US soldiers were eating South Korean children. Does anyone know if there is validity to this??

The North Korea thread - UN Security Council imposes new sanctions
Posted by: Poohahafun (IP Logged)
Date: June 17, 2009 01:58AM
UN Security Council imposes New sanctions on N.Korea.
Resolution 1874 provides a strong and united international response to North Korea. In relation to this, N. Korea responded to UN sanctions by claiming its program to develop nuclear weapons-grade enriched uranium had reached an experimental stage.

What do you think about sanctioning N. Korea?

1. Need more sanctions against N.Korea
2. Instead, order an attack on N.Korea
3. Arrange a diplomatic solution with N.Korea
4. I don't know

Kim doesn't give a F...

And Kim Jong Il is an asshole. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes: assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck an asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us fuck this asshole, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit!

HAHAHAH CANUCK HAHAHAHAHAHA I loved Team America lol.

Yeah I kinda think if we just laughed at him, and left it be known that if he thinks he can survive a nuclear war then he's got another thing coming. After that we just ignore him and let him bark and yell from his little hole of a country.

And what would that be exactly? It's been tried, the west has given him all sorts of crap to try and bribe him into playing nice but he always goes back on his word and takes the supplies and keeps making more missiles...

Edgar I doubt there would be war. There is too much to lose on all sides.

And Canuck as far as I know he's seen Team America. He watches US comedies and that is a comedy.

Lordarithon,

I am not so sure if the latest act of aggression by North Korea is more posturing or a prelude to a regional and/or global war.

With the latest BRIC Meeting just recently ending in Russia, it is clear that the US Dollar is slated to be replaced by some type of supracurrency in the very near future. If one believes that the Global Power Elite is already in control of the rest of the World, then this means we are moving to the next stage of their plan of every country sharing one truly global currency that even China's Central Bank will agree to surrender. However, if this is not the case, we may be seeing Russia and China leading the way to break-out of the Global Power Elite's monopoly of global finance through their exclusive use of the ever-diminishing US Dollar.

Having said that, the current actions of everyone's favorite rogue state, North Korea, become better understandable. If the Cabal is in control of North Korea, then instigating a war in the region is necessary to accelerate the Cabal's plans for an Asian Union in light of the events of that BRIC meeting. However, if China is in control of North Korea, then it is understandable for them to push the war as a means to finally break the control of the Global Power Elite enforced by their proxy country, the US.

Just as a reminder, in North Korea's latest threat to the World, they say the conditions of the Armistice that ended the hostilities of the Korean War in 1950 have been nullified. Hence, all the combatants of that war are now free to resume hostilities. Those countries, of course, include not only North and South Korea, but the forces of the UN, the US, China, and Russia as well.

Stay tuned...

O.B.C the Cabal isn't in control of North Korea. North Korea is one of the last countries to be part of all of the mess, this is why that country is in such poor shape.

Lordarithon,

If you're right, then the recent provacations of North Korea could be explained in one of two ways.

1. North Korea is posturing herself in the transition of power to Kim the Younger.

or

2. North Korea, with its upcoming missle tests on or near July 4th, along with its current decision to opt out of the Armistice with South Korea, is setting the stage for a potential military response by the UN, US, South Korea, or maybe Japan.

If the former be true, then we can all laugh at the launching of those missles next month in July.

If the latter be true, then we can expect the possibilities of military action against North Korea by any one of those countries, who were involved in the Korean War in 1950 and/or with Japan as well.

In any event, as North Korea raises the stakes, the international community knows any tougher sanctions towards North Korea will be watered down by China or Russia. Hence, the UN, US, South Korea, and/or Japan might very well be compelled to entertain a more military related response to North Korea in order to save face as well as their own national credibility in the region.
