That's so wrong of you: Posting of a picture where the Communist soldier is using a book written in Traditional Chinese and has no Pinyin whatsoever and you are using this "website" to teach Simplified Chinese to 4eignuhs, who might not even know Pinyin? And the website is written in Simplified Chinese?. S_meth_ng_s mis_ing he_e.

Be consistent. If you use Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese, make sure it's all the same format, otherwise, it's very confusing for the reader / learner.

毛澤東選集 [Traditional Chinese] = 毛泽东选集 [Simplified Chinese] = maozedong suanji [Pinyin, without tones: I'm too lazy & tired right now, find out on your own] = selected works of Mao Zedong[later used in China in Pinyin due to Mao's decision to use it widely at one point, but he retracted and later recanted and now Pinyin is used for teaching children and foreigners the approximate pronunciation of Chinese words via Putonghua.] / Mao Tse-tung [Wade-Giles romanization was used because he was born before Pinyin came into use].

The text follows the story of Ding Libo (the son of Gubo and Ding Yun from the first edition) and other international students as they live in China, learning about Chinese culture and society as they learn contemporary Mandarin Wedding Venues in Ventura

I have mixed feelings for this book. Coming from a Chinese background (and having the ability to actually SPEAK Chinese fluently), the first six chapters were a breeze. Android Affiliate Program It starts off with just some pinyin, so that's always there to guide. All of a sudden, chapter 7 takes away the guiding hand and puts you straight to characters!

I didn't feel like I had a chance to absorb all the characters I had been expected to memorize in the first six chapters. I then decided to buy the workbook. Although the workbook isn't worth the price, it is helpful & I'd probably still buy it in hindsight. Unless you're in a class enviroment with supplementary work, the textbook alone won't be enough to help you with characters. flash player free download

ntic and high-quality (even though I live in Guangxi province, in Southern China, where people sometimes get annoyed if I use the Beijing dialect used in Chinese books Fifty Shades of Grey | Fifty Shades | 50 Shades of Grey I haven't gotten the Teacher's manuals, as they're difficult to get a hold of in China, but you're better off studying with a tutor if it's at all possible.
