What chinese words would be pronounced "loo" and "duck"?
Or even better, what would it meen if pronounced together: looduck? If you could also post the appropriate ideograms, that would be great

Why do you want to learn that ? Why don't you learn high goose ![]() I have a client who wants to enter the Chinese market with a new product. The name would be Looduck, and we would like to know if it has any negative connotations in Chinese.
p.s. it is pronounced Lu-Dak, not Low-Duck Re: what would "loo" and "duck" mean?

What product it is? I will ask my native Chinese friend, if you tell me what product it is. What difference does it make?
Any serious replies... please? Re: what would "loo" and "duck" mean?

I think 路达 lu4 da2 will do. Lu4 means road, and da2 means reach. So, together they mean road will reach. Sound good to you?
The traditional characters are 路達。Let me know if you have further questions. Hi, would you explain what you are talking about while your client used this word? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
