I just bought a sword today and it had some chinese charaters on it. I'm pretty sure it's Mandarin. I did some research on each character to find out what it ment and this is what I came up with.
1- now; today 2- old, classic, ancient 3- have, own, possess; exist 4- spirit, god, supernatural being 5- to receive (from superior); to offer; to revere 6- purpose, will, determination 7- scholar, gentleman; soldier That is going from the top character to the bottom one. And here is a picture of it. [krisrocks.weebly.com] Can you please help me to make a sentence out of it? Haha. I can get the basic idea but I'd like to fill in the blanks. Thanks!

I hear, the meaning of "今古有神奉志士" is " I am the sword of the one who brings harmony between the old's and the new's " that exists in the dialog of Mr.Ken Watanabe .
