Hello everyone! I thought this game would be a good way to have fun with the Chinese language.

Rules:
* One entry per person per day
* Enter three Chinese characters only

The association of your three characters with the previous three characters must be clearly understood. If it is obscure or stretched, you can show how smart you are by giving a brief explanation.

Association is typically made from Meaning or from Borrowing (a character).

Entries can go beyond classic Chinese idioms, like from the 三字经 which is marvelously presented here>> [raptor.depauw.edu]. Have fun, be creative, and make sense!

Remember to increase the character size of your entry to extra-small/small to make viewing easier. I will start with…
