孕妇 and 孕产妇

Could anyone provide me with an explanation of the difference between these two words? Are they both "pregnant women" in English or is there some distinction I should be making.

孕妇 is pregnant women, 产妇 is lying-in women/puerpera, i think 产妇 is most used in hospital.
but i never know 孕产妇～～

孕妇means pregnant women, while 孕产妇 means pregnant & puerperal women

oooo～～i see, maybe there's 孕/产妇 zone in the hospital~~
