Hi Alice,

The words written on the fortune cat can be translated into English as "treasures, a lot of money".
The word "宝bao3" means treasures in Chinese.
"千万qian1 wan4" means "thousands of".
"两liang3" is a unit of weight (1 两 = 50 grams). It was also used as a weight unit in old times. (I don't know how much it weighs exactly in old times.)
"千万两" means a fortune. "两" is used to indicate (to measure) the amount of fortune because gold ingot and silver ingot were used as curriencies in ancient China.
Hope this helps.
