Could someone please explain to me in detail what these characters mean?
I've already asked some of my Chinese friends but each of them say
different things. much thanks!

穷寇莫追
穷寇 = 窮寇 = hard pressed enemy; tottering foe
莫 = don't
追 = to chase

the origin is from ancient chinese war tactics, and the meaning is never push your enemy who is already in danger, in case of the enemy risk his life to fight with you.

Very interesting...

There is a traditional Mexican saying: "Better an injured enemy, than a dead one"...and other says: "Sit to see the road, and you will see your enemy's dead body go by"...
You may need Spanish translation services to translate more of those traditional sayings...
