Can anyone tell me about what these characters on this old box mean?

I found this well-made old box and was wondering if someone here could tell me what the carvings on the front say, or perhaps even what it was used for when it was made.

= Name of the place

海上 [written from right to left before the 1970's] = 上海 = Shanghai / located in Shanghai/ Shanghainese [dialect or people]



= double dragon



= tea shop

北苑 this is the name of the place in Beijing.
海上 means " on the sea"
双龙 means double dragon
茶店 tea shop
