CNKI is a key project of national informatization constructure and a digital publishing platform, dedicated itself to the mass digitalization of China knowledge resources. There are about 40 million readers and more than 3 billion downloads per year. In order to disseminate best papers published in best Chinese language journals, CNKI has just initiated a big project to help translate selected best Chinese papers into English. It is an important project not only for translating selected best Chinese academic content but also aiming to transmitting and popularizing Chinese culture in the world.
Bearing such grand mission, CNKI is looking for qualified freelance translators majoring in various fields of research. We sincerely welcome overseas specialists and scholars who have professional backgrounds and excellent English skills to join us. The translators should try their best to ensure both the academic quality and the language quality of translated articles. Translations will be paid according to the translation quantity and quality. Job description:
Translation of Chinese academic articles into English.

Qualifications:
1. Specialists with at least master degrees acquired from English-speaking countries, with at least 2-year’s experience of academic research either abroad or in China.
2. Or, Assistant Professors or Postdoctoral Researchers with at least 2-year’s experience of academic research in English-speaking countries.
3. Or, excellent Master or PhD candidates with at least 2-year’s study experience in English-speaking countries

Job requirement：
1. Finish the translation work timely under the requirement of quality.
2. Be familiar with desktop office systems and be good at email communication.
