小說與電影不同的地方

* 在小說中正行於2005年因車禍喪生，而守恆和慧嘉因要出席正行的喪禮回到花蓮，電影中正行並沒有死去。
* 小說中，守恆在自己幻想出來，與正行的對話中，間接坦承自己對正行的感情是屬於情人的愛，而電影中除了床戲，守恆都只說正行是自己最好的朋友。
* 小說中慧嘉是從日本歸台，電影中則是香港。
* 小說中守恆考上的是國立體育大學，正行考上私立大學，電影中兩人則一起考上同一間私立大學。

The difference between novels and movies

*In the novel, Zhengxing died in 2005 because of a car crash,then Shouheng and Huijia went back to Hualian(a city name in Taiwan) for attending the funeral of Zhengxing. But in movie,Zhengxing didn't die.

*In novel, Shouheng imagined that he(she) was talking to Shouxing, and he(she) admitted that his(her) feeling with Zhengxing is love. But in movie, Shouheng only comfirmed that Zhengxing was his(her) best friend except those scenes of making love.

* Huijia went back Taiwan from Japan in novel, but in movie she(he) went back from Hongkong.
* In novel, Shouheng was a student of The National College of Physical Education and Sports,and Zhengxing went to a private college. But in movie they both went to a same private college.

Differences between the movie and the novel:

• In the novel, Zhengxing dies in a car accident in 2005, and Shouheng and Huijia return to Hualian to attend Zhengxing’s funeral. In the movie, Zhengxing does not die.

• In the novel, Shouheng indirectly admits his love for Zhengxing in a dream dialogue with him. But, in the movie, except for a bedroom scene, Shouheng only says that Zhengxing is his best friend.

• In the novel, Huijia returns to Taiwan from Japan, but in the movie she comes from Hong Kong.

• In the novel, Shouheng is admitted to The National College of Physical Education and Sports, and Zhengxing is admitted to a private university, but in the movie they are both admitted to the same private university.
