Translation of « a dragon among the men » into Chinese?

I need to translate into traditional chinese:
- "a dragon between/among the average men"
- or simplified: "a dragon among the men"

I've narrowed it down to: 龍在人之中

I don't know if that's correct, so i kind of need expert help.
If someone could lend me a hand I would be much obliged.

this is an idiom/set phrase in Chinese, with a popular and concise form:

means: a dragon(outstanding person, 龍) among the masses(人中)
