I am a Chinese boy, working in Shanghai now. 25 years old .
At first , I just want to learn English from foreigners . But now I want to find a foreign girlfriend . Because i love their life attitude , it's just enjoy the life , more freedom . Maybe I want to live in abroad. The most important of all , they are more beautiful than Chinese girls . so I made a dicision to find a foreign girlfriend.
But it is so difficult to do . I don't why there are so many Chinese girl and foreign guy walking on the street hand in hand , but none Chinese guy with foreign girl . Maybe most of foreign girls don't like Chinese guys . I kown most of Chinese boys are weak and thin , but I am different , I am tall and strong .
No metter what reason it is , I still believe I can marry with a foreign girl.
If you are kind , if you love China , then I think I can be a good partner to you. We can learn language from each other . And I can show you much about China .
In the end , I am not a rich man . But I am happy and working hard every day.

First off realize that every foreign girl will be different. Not all are free, not all are all about enjoying and not all are beautiful...

Nothing to do with strong or thin. Chinese guys are mostly shy. Chinese guys are mostly traditional and while many Chinese girls are ok with becoming less traditional many Chinese guys seem to believe the girls should change not them. If you are open minded, not controling, not overly jealous, not traditional, not shy and at least somewhat handsome don't worry so much I'm sure you can find a girl.

Usually I'd say you and the girl should both accept changes, a little Chiense culture, a little western culture. But honestly if you are specifically going for foreign girls than it's you who must make the changes and become more like them. Be bold and brave and go and approach them. Buy them drinks, wine them and dine them. Be Funny and easy going and optimistic. And if one says no, don't get discouraged, move on and find another, lots of fish in the sea.

They have to love China? What about if they enjoy their time here but don't love China? You might have a hard time finding someone who actually LOVES China... especially if your idea of love is the typical Chinese idea of loving your country where you don't criticise or admit anything bad about it... Westerners will probably criticize China and they will say bad things about it sometimes. You must be ok with that otherwise you'll just look intollerant and rude. Every Country has good and bad, it's important to be able to admit to both of them.

I know that Chinese guys are mostly shy,jealous,controling,traditional.But in this point,I am different with other traditional Chinese guys.I can accept different life style,different culture.so that's why I can open my mind to try to meet a foreign girlfriend.
I have a foreign female friend now.But at first,I just want to learn language.And we communicated very well.At the first time, I chatted with her making me feel so nervous,but now it is easygoing.But now it is defficult to find another fish in the sea.
They do not have to love China.I do not love China so much myself.China really have so many bad things.I don't think anybody will love China completely.But if she love some of China and she is interested in some things in China,then I can show her much about it.
If we can accept each other,every problem can be soveled.we can live in China,if she wants.or if she wants to go back to her country,then I can still with her.I will be an international certified software engineer ,so it will be not difficult to find a job in abroad.

yeah what you said here seems like a good start. and if you already have a foreigner friend why not talk to her about it? Tell her you find Chinese girls too traditional or controlling or whatever, just find an excuse to have her introduce someone to you or at least to have her introduce her other foreigner friends or where tehy like to hang out so you can go meet people yourself.

She came Shanghai last month for her parnter. So she does not have any foreign friends in Shanghai.

is her partner Chinese or foreign? Don't they ever go out and do anything?

If you want to meet foreigners, go to bars and chat. In China that's the easiest way.

White girl , you should act for improving the society , to make this situation becoming fair . i
think there are a lot of Tall Chinese handsome boys for you , with good modern job , that have

But another situation is not fair . By us their is something not fair also . for one foreigner living in

First of all, not all foreign women are beautiful, haha. We have plenty of ugly women. And lots of foreign women look just like chinese women. Are you only looking for caucasian, middle eastern, black, anything but chinese looking women?

One reason why you might not see alot of chinese men walking around with foreign women on their arms might be because of height issues. I'm don't know how things are where you live, but where I live in China I'm taller than a large majority of the local men. I definitely wouldn't date a guy shorter than me. But you stated you're tall, so that shouldn't be a problem for you.

Foreign girls like confident men. Men who don't act like boys and will make the first move. And none of that controlling boyfriend stuff. Be polite! No offense to chinese people, but I noticed alot of chinese men don't have the same rules of courtesy as foreign men. Open doors, pay for meals/drinks/cab fares, ask before smoking. Be a gentleman!

What Leopard says is bull, you don't need to be sly to attract a foreign girl. And you definitely don't need to be playing games.

usually you find Chinese girl is with very old, rich western man in many cases becasue chinese girls sees she can have better life outside china eventually, i know friend mine 52yrs old was with chinese girls 22yrs old !!!!! same age his daughter.

I am 183 cm tall. I think it is taller than most of all Chinese guys. but just as what you said, how tall is not important for meeting a foreign girlfriend.
I think i have my own way to attract girls.
Really difficult for me to find a girlfriend. Still not make any
progress now. I live in Pudong now , it's far away from bars.so I try to find a girlfriend on the internet.

Pu Dong is a train journey no more that 4~6RMB 30mins to Hengshen Road or Shanxi Road stataion if you really want to meet i do not think it is far.
My apartment in xujiahui many foregin girls from Europe, Japanese, USA, you have many to chose from. Friday & Saturday nights that were many go.

at daytime , it is easy to go to Xujiahui just by subway or by bus. but if I go to some bar , then it will be night when I come back . so how can I go back to Pudong at night.
Maybe there is a way to solve the problem. I will try to find a way.

My friend, you're making too many excuses....have you heard of taxi's..they come in many different colours driven by chinese men, at times they try to kill you with they lack of driving ability and then try rip you off for the privilage...back to the point...if you get lucky you not need go back to pu dong if you get my meaning if unlucky you need to get taxi. please tell me your mum lets you out at night on your own??

how much RMB the taxi will take at night from Xujiahui to Pudong ? especially for a Chinese guy.

First of all you're 24 y/o not 25, if you go abroad, it will cause confusion
Taxi will cost about 50RMB from Puxi to Pudong, (last time it was 70 because THE party decided to raise the gasoline price a bit), but it's nothing comparing to finding a girl you really like.

Taxi should cost same for Chinese guy as well as Foregin guy, but usually foregin gets ripped off so pays more. Pudong to Xujiahui is about 50RMB even at midnight not more that that. If you worried about taxi how you going to take foregin girl out??? foregin girl expects you to pay for drinks and dinner its the the gentleman thing to do....maybe we hit nail on head, maybe chinese guys are tight arses and will not pay!!! If so you no chance with foregin girl this chinese girl jump into arms of foregin man, they pay for everything!!! Maybe we have come to conclusion on why there is no chinese guys with foregin girls....

Tianna, some guys are born naturals but very few. The rest of us dolts need something to go on. It's a lot of work figuring out what girls are all about.
