Beijing's Pickup Chinese language school offers nine-day excursions, conducted in friendly small-group settings of at most 5 participants.

It should be emphasized that we are not a travel agency or a tour agency. All of our teachers have Master’s degrees in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, and are completely fluent in both English and Chinese.

Who goes on our tours? We design the tours for people who plan to stay in China for two months or more, and plan to live a normal life here during that time. Our tours are perfect preparation for this. Tour participants gain a great deal of knowledge about everyday living in China. You'll learn how to order food in restaurants, reserve a hotel room, and negotiate the Beijing bus system, taxis, trains, and planes. If you plan to stay, we will assist you in finding an apartment, opening a bank account, and other essential details of life.

Because some of China's laws and regulations are not familiar to Westerners, a trip to China can seem like a formidable challenge. We will make the process easy by assisting you with the administrative details.
