Maybe all the guys you hang out with do... Try to find less scummy friends.

Let's analyze what you say: you are a nice girl but Chinese men have no confidence and only want to treat women poorly and abuse them for sex. Seems to me, the fault doesn't lie with them but with ... you!

Quite frankly, if i were a man (Chinese or otherwise) and a woman would be interested in me primarily because i was a potential facilitator for her starting a family, i'd be heading for the hills, if not the Himalayas.

maybe because there are gaps and distance, after all, marriage is life-long. you should make some male friends first, to know each other and build relationship. let them to know you. you can resort to your Chinese girl friend to know some very good guys.
Chinese people are a little conserved but very responsible. i am sure you can find your MR. right in China. good luck.

'Our men' most likely means a foreign guy aka not a Chinese man.

But the main problem is : chinese men in China are shy by nature... and even more with foreign girls !
And you will not be able to change them...*

Best way to make them approach you would be to show them signs of interest (eye contacts... say hi with your hand).
Or better, to go and talk to them, but would you agree to do what men have to do ? :p

(*I think they need a coach like Will Smith in the movie Hitch haha.)

I have actually asked a chinese guy flat out a year ago to go on date... he was still too shy... so don't say that its the girls fault for not trying... she might have been subtle like that and that gets you nowhere... even asking a chinese guy out sometimes leads to him being so shy he doesn't know what to do.

Yeh their is something a bit not totally fair . i m a western men . i feel like the Chinese men can
be a bit jealous . We enjoy the Chinese girl , that their family bring up during years

But they rarely enjoy our girls . I would like to see the situation equal . I would like to see as
many Chinese men walking with white girls as we do .

Whats a statement to make, "our men" !!!! we not property belonging to anyone. You may find Chinese girls throw themselves at foreign men, why better life in west. Not all women use sex for their advantage. Some do some don't. Not all women do that.

and your generalizations are wrong now. Most of the friends I know that are dating Chinese are within 3 years age difference. It is not always 20's and 50 year olds anymore.

You are in the states correct me if i am wrong.
Many comments on this site relate to mainland China please check a map for your reference.
It appears you have never been to china and know little about the place.

Both of you are right, there are lots of girls here dating guys 20 years their senior but there are also tons of girls dating guys there same age.

This is what happens in a culture where girls have little value except to move your family up in social status.

I used to feel sorry for Chinese guys that so many of their girls seem so obsessed with foreigners and then I realized it's the Guy's own fault, if Chinese women were more respected and not seen as something to possess they'd have less reason to be chasing money for their family's sake.

My chinese friend in shanghai (she very pretty and succesful business woman) tells me opposite, she want foregin man because chinese men, some i will not generalise, have wife and girl friend and not so faithful.
Not saying Chinese are any better or worse than any other nation i guess it same whereever, i am just sitting on the fence.
