2.ccabatit:I have played with AP1s for one year and love them. I played Ping G5s previously and find these to be more accurate with better feel. I did not try the AP2s. I wish I had, but I have never been disappointed with my AP1s. My index is 8.0.
3.doph:At address the heads look a little more compact and the topline appears thinner, but it actually is the same size, but looks smaller thanks to some extra polishing and visual tweaking. The sweetspot is not as big as the AP2s as yoiu would expect but the offset is smaller and this is an iron ideally suited to the low handicap player. Titleist are quietly confident that the AP1 will outsell the AP2 and with the 712 version of the titleist ap1 712 irons we would have to say it has every chance with single figure golfers.
