As I known,it's right.
All of the Chinese universities except Peking University don't have long history (less than 100 years).

What are the criteria used? I have noticed before that many things in China which are described as "beautiful" either all look the same as if copied from one another or are actually nothing special. I don't doubt that some of these universities ARE beautiful, but just wondering how they were judged? The amount of water on campus? Natural environment and clean air? Architecture? Surrounding views? Distance from noise and traffic? Trees and flowers? Girls (agree with Astroboy that the students can either add to or detract from the asthetics of the campus) or Boys (not gay just being fair to the girls). I studied at a small university in Guangdong that I think is beautiful due to the quality of the air, the landscaping, quiet atmosphere, nighttime lighting, and some other things. The problem is that as soon as I leave the campus, the ugliness is immediately present.

The city electricity plants are imported,
The planes are imported,
The cars are imported,
The city water treatment plants are imported,

The high scrappers, the architects who design them are imported,
The road construction equipment are imported.

I think the University system should produce people capable to built modern equipment to the
country.
I don't know what you learn in this Universities,
But the result i don't see it for the country equipment part.
Textile producing toys export building construction , that’s great.
But the equipment technology something is wrong.
The university should teach that.
your numerous student should be able to built this equipment. Not import it.
Your generation just import technology from the west.

Start learning technology at a large scale including Science math
Like we do in the west. Learning perfect English is a mistake.
It doesn’t built the country equipment.

Young students it's time to stop learning English,
It's time to stop learning Trade, and economy, or others not very useful things.
This millions of students should be able to built the country equipments.
