Why is Civil Engineering in China so hot?

Civil engineering contains rock and soil engineering, industrial and civil construction, and Road & Bridge engineering. as long as a country develops, the buildings, houses and roads, bridges need to be built, people majoring in civil engineering will never lose jobs, on the contrary, they have more job opportunities

In China, the employ rate of civil engineering majored reached up to 90%, it is amazingly high. According to the statics of CISS(China International Students Admission Service), this year, about 63.3% international student applied civil engineering amount the total number of students perusing engineering programs.

This year is coming to an end, the application for Chinese universities will become very hot again after the new year festival. Some universities is ready to enroll new international students. Some Chinese public universities offer civil engineering with reasonable price. For example, Hunan University offers both bachelor and master’s Chinese-instructed civil engineering with successive cost of RMB17000/Y and RMB21000/Y

There also, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Lanzhou Jiaotong University and North China University of Technology also offer civil engineering programs for international students

if don’t have much interests in engineering programs, you can also find other programs you would like to apply for
