I have been to many cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, but in my eyes, Shenzhen city is the most beautiful one although it is a smaller city compared to the other three cities. Here you can see many greens around the city everywhere with modern buildings. Also you can see HongKong just by standing beside the sea bank in Shenzhen, it is a really beautiful scenery.

Of course, Shanghai is the biggest city, I like the highest building there and the night view of the vast sea as well as the ships with colorful lights coming and going across the sea. But Shanghai has too many people so that the subways are always crowded. In Shenzhen, the subway is much more comfortable with fewer people.

Beijing and Guangzhou both have famous sceneries however they are too old cities, maybe Beijing has some changes after the great Olympic Games in 2008.

The best place for working is Shenzhen since it is full of challenges here but also it is the worst place for living here because the houses are too expensive...and the working rythm is too fast...

So much for my views about the Shenzhen city, but if you come here, you will never feel regret for your visit here.

What about Dali, Dalian and Guilin? though I prefer smaller cities.

i prefer to live in small cities, where there are fewer people and it's relatively quiet. i like seaside cities so much. Beihai is my favorite city not only because it's my hometown but also for beautiful beach and delicious seafood. i also like Dalian, Xiamen. Dali and guilin are nice places for travelling.

I don't like Shenzhen though the city center in shenzhen is beautiful. the place around "the world window" is worth seeing. The beach there is less attractive than other places in China.

I do like beijing due to its culture and history. i travel there from time to time. but i still don't get used to living in beijing. the subway is not so good, so many people..

Guangzhou is also full of people. Though i work in Guangzhou, i don't like it because it's a little dirty. Guangzhou is nice city for shopping and eating. i like Guangzhou Subway.

Hangzhou west lake is beautiful but traffic in Hangzhou is so bad. no subway and traffic jams will make you go mad. i haven't been to Shanghai but i think i will not like it because i don't like the climate. winter is too cold and summer too hot.

no city is perfect. if a city is good enough to let you ignore its flaws, i think that's your favorite one.

some districts in shenzhen are really dangerous but some are not.
it just depends on where u live or where u go.
