Hi, I am a translator (not limited to localization and globalization)working in Shenzhen, China.

Learning a foreign langauge makes me happy.I still remeber when I and Al, an American guy traveled SZ for business,happily talked and tried to say goodbye to each other in as many languages as we could. We are, in deed, in no difference if we breaks the door of language.

However, I meet a dilemma at my work.As Chinese is so complicated, it is necessary for translators of China like me to translate Chinese into English (and other languages as well). But the translation could be Chiglish, that is, Chinese- English. Why? I think that is the different ways of thinking and cultures matter.

Therefore, now, I need someone with whom to practise English. And I will lead you to approach Chinese culture.

I come from northeast of China. Do you konw? Mandarin= dialect of northeast China+ accent of Beijing. Madarine is just my mothertongue.

You just talk about chinese dialects. Was it difficult for a northern Chinese as you, to make your like in the southern Shenzhen? Are the two regions dialects very different?
