Hello! My girlfriend is in the process of learning English. She doesn't know any English at all so she is just a beginner.

I asked my chinese friend and she recommended me this site: [www.hjenglish.com]

She doesnt have the money to go to school. So she has to learn after work at home.

Does anyone know any other chinese websites that could be helpful for her.

I have been using chinese pod to learn chinese. I think it is extremely helpful. So maybe something like that to help her..

Any recommendations?

Your gf should find someone who is bi- or multi-lingual. Most Asians are.

I use Rosetta Stone to learn Mandarin, this program does not use memorization but uses sight recognition and recall. Of all programs and books i have used trying to learn Mandarin, Rosetta Stone is hands down the best.

I just put Rosetta Stone into Bing search engine and 4th one down was a free download. Give it a try. It can be downloaded to learn any language

Me too like using Rosetta Stone. I use it to learn Japanese. It can be downloaded freely. Have a try at this.

Your gf should find someone who is bi- or multi-lingual. That's true. Doesn't she have any friends who is willing to help who can speak both English and Chinese? You can find a lot of people who knows both languages due to so many people living in China. Can't you help? You speak English. hello? Uh?
