I'm noticing that a lot of people are asking for something they can easily do themselves. Here is a simple guide to self translations

1. It's important to understand that Chinese names only contain 3 (or 2 if your name is short) syllables (3 characters, basically) so you have to shorten it to 3 syllables.

2. Go to http://www.chinese-tools.com/tools/ime.html

3. Type out each syllable ONE AT A TIME (typing one, then backspacing, and typing another) and simply pick a character for each one. When translating foreign names, the characters don't have to mean anything when put together.

4 (optional). If you REALLY want your name to mean something kinda cool, go to http://www.chinese-tools.com/tools/sinograms.html and copy and paste each character to find out what it means. This won't really do anything but you will feel cool when you tell people your name is "Big Fire Wolf"
