Looking for information about Chinese painter Xu Ying

hello,

i have this chinese painting by xu ying, and date 1980?. anyway i don't understand chinese calender years. but most of the chinese paintings that i have seen in website's. is different from mine's, and i just can't find anything about the artist(in web). this is one of the paintings i have, that
like the most. just don't know why an artist this good, is not known? to me
at least.

庚申 = approximately any 60 years before or after 1980*

*1st day of Chinese New Year = late January or early to mid-February.

Chinese paintings and works of art are rarely documented in English. You might have better luck getting a friend in China or HK to research for you.

My favorite is still Xu Beihong. His latest piece was sold for USD7 mil.
