On October 21st, 12 foreigners and their Chinese teachers gathered in Mandarin Garden to participate in the culture activity about Mahjong.
The activity started at 1:30 p.m. First two of our teachers here introduced the Chinese names of each piece of tile, then the foreigners played a game, the host named a tile, and the foreigners tried to find it in many tiles in no particular order. The one who find all the right tiles got a reward from the school.
Then another teacher taught the foreigners how to play Mahjong. They learned it fast and then started to play. The foreigner really loved the game and the room was alive with audiences’ laughter.
At 4:00, we finished our activity and we took a photo together. One of the foreigners said: “意犹未尽”.
