What does in China means if you invite girl to meet your family? Is that showing some kind of deeper obligation or that means something completely different.

I appreciate all answers.

Depends on the girl but almost always is a sign of a serious relationship.

I'd say if the girl is a little or a lot traditional it means you are thinking Marriage, not necessarily right away but yeah...

If she's not traditional it still means you are serious about the relationship and it's a step towards becoming hitched. If you don't want a serious relationship do NOT take her home to meet your family or go to meet hers! Or at least be clear before hand...

I want to go very serious, but was not sure how would she accept that. I will suggest her and see the reaction. Thank you for truthfully answer.

how long have you known her ?
in North America, if a girl invited you to meet her parents, it usually means to tell parents you are dating.

One time i met someone in the bar, she did not tell me and arrange me to meet her and her parents, i wasn't impress with that, of course, we did not end up together, i like to keep surprise into min when it comes to meet parents.

I am sorry, I can't compare this situation to your, as she is from China, and yes I think she is a little traditional. I will see how she reacts on my proposal and decide then.

Thank you for advice.
