The Mizuno MX 200 Irons, a one-piece Grain Flow Forged iron which features Mizuno's new Y-TUNE forgiveness technology. A deep pocket cavity, milled to preserve the Mizuno MX200's one piece feel is complemented by a Y shaped reinforcement pad, extending a 5% larger sweet area into a toe orientated position. The wizards at Mizuno found that this would, in theory, match the miss hit patterns of us mortal amateurs.

The Mizuno MX 200 sees Grain Flow Forged forgiveness takes a huge step forward with the introduction of Y-Tune. A milled deep pocket cavity – that keeps the MX-200's one piece feel intact – enhances the large sweet area even further. This allows the sweet area to match the miss hit patterns of amateur golfers. The MX-200 is the iron for both amateurs and professionals with a solid hitting area combined with an aggressive sole design. Mizuno's MX-200 matches cast irons for forgiveness and increases the effectiveness of the sweet area by moving it towards the toe area of the club giving extra distance even on mishits. The Mizuno MX200 proves that forged irons can be as playable as cast irons for the mid to low handicapper.

All in all, the Mizuno MX200 saleare a forged iron offering from Mizuno made mainly for the mid to low handicap golfer. Like the MX-100 Mizuno irons, they have some nice looking graphics and would look good in any player's bag. Whenever in a golf shop, if you are an amateur golfer you'd better give the MX-200s a try. Then you will find that you can never go wrong with them.
