Hi,

I recently saw this online and was wondering what the writing in the centre is in English?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Simon

Hi,generally,it means mother,in the ancient,Chinese ppl call them mom "娘“or "娘亲”。
But now, some ppl used it descrip some male is grily or ladylike, sth like that.
Thanks.

娘/娘亲/娘親 is [an ancient Chinese way] [or now sarcastically, a way] of addressing someone's own biological "mother".
娘娘 is a way of addressing "a lady consort" of the emperors of olden times.
娘娘腔 is "when a guy sounds like a woman".
姑娘 is an ancient way of addressing "unmarried girls" or "young ladies"
