We offer a fun, active and exciting Mandarin summer camp in China and Taiwan that aims to attract the kid's interest to Chinese language, culture and encourages them to keep on studying Chinese once back home.

The camp is 4 week long and includes:

- 3 daily mandarin lessons, given by experienced teachers in a fun and interactive way. (M-F)
- Daily cultural and discover activities like visits to Museums, Kung Fu lessons and DIY workshops (pottery, paper making, Chinese cooking)
- Weekend excursions to Taiwan's country side and National parks where the teenagers can practice trekking, rafting and canoeing.

Camp Description:

Fun and practical language lessons:
Students with any level in Mandarin are welcomed. Placement tests will take place at the beginning of the course and groups will be formed according to the students’ proficiency in Chinese.

Lessons are given by experienced teachers and are designed to be fun, interactive and encourage students to speak in mandarin as soon as possible.

In the afternoon activities where students can put into practice what they learnt in the morning are organized. For example, the teenagers might be taught in class how to bargain prices, and in the afternoon a small contest is organized in a fresh market to see which group of students can get a given shopping basket at the lowest price.

During our courses we teach both simplified and traditional Chinese characters and we follow the Pinyin romanization.

Exciting activities:
Afternoons are reserved for all kinds of activities, sports, cultural visits, DIY workshops and even acrobatics and Chinese opera shows. Details can be found on our website: [] but to name a few:

- Discovery workshops: introduction classes to Kung-Fu, Chinese Opera mask making class and mah-jong/traditional games class, etc.

- Cultural visits: We will visit many of Taiwan's top museums such as the National Palace Museum, considered as one of the world's top 5 museums and home to some 700.000 pieces of art that belonged to Peking's Forbidden City and other imperial palaces in China. We will also visit Buddhist and Taoist temples, aquariums as well as villages and workshops where traditional handcrafting, cooking, and manufacturing techniques are preserved and still in use.

- Chinese cuisine tasting: we take students to different restaurants so they can sample and if they wish even learn to cook dishes from China's different cuisines.

- Adventure sports: Every week the students will discover one of the many breath-taking National and Nature parks in Formosa. While in the Park the youngsters will have the possibility to practice adventure sports such as trekking, rafting and canoeing as a way to explore Taiwan's natural wonders.

Combining the language courses with all this activities helps us give the most exciting and broadest possible insight into China's culture, traditions and way of life and encourage the students to further their knowledge once back home.
