My friend in Beijing told me that Tsing Hua University and BNU (Beijing Normal University) are good places to go. BLCU is also good. But there rules aren't too strict and there are much more temptation around BLCU smiling smiley

Hey, please let us know a bit more about your situation so we can better help you. Does the government give you any restrictions which universities/schools you can go to?
I went to BLCU, which is the biggest and probably most famous school for studying Chinese in Beijing. However, you have to be very careful to not just speak English there all day, because there are a A LOT of foreigners there.
The other three big universities that teach Chinese in Beijing are Tsing Hua, Bei Da and Bei Wai, but there are plenty of others. However, those three will all have a lot of foreigners too, so there is a risk of again speaking too much English.
